Ok, you might still be able to add Shenault Jr. to your roster next week, but it is going to cost a lot more. Laviska Shenault Jr. is currently available in 73% of Yahoo Leagues and 73% of ESPN Leagues but not for long.
Laviska Shenault Jr. may be a rookie, but he has already had a significant impact for the Jacksonville Jaguars through their first two games. The Rookie Wide Receiver was drafted in the second round from The University of Colorado and has seen action in both the running and receiving game plan for the Jaguars.
During Week 1 Shenault Jr. had 2 carries for 10 yards and 3 receptions for 37 yards and a touchdown.
With all the hype around Ruggs, Jeudy and other rookie wide receivers, Shenault Jr. was the only one with a touchdown during Week 1.
During game 2, Shenault Jr. did not have a touchdown, but he was still extremely active for the Jaguars. He had five carries for 37 yards and 3 receptions on 4 targets for 35 yards.
Things are just getting started for this versatile play maker. Shenault Jr. has been one of the top targets for Gardner Minshew, and the Jaguars have incorporated Shenault Jr. in a multitude of ways so far this season.
With D.J. Chark out tonight vs. the Dolphins, Shenault Jr. will see an even bigger increase of usage for the Jaguars. Shenault Jr. will be a viable flex option the rest of this season with or without Chark playing in a given week.
Add Shenault Jr. while you can, because after tonight his stock will continue to go up. If you wait until next week, it will cost a bigger chunk of waiver dollars to add him if he is still available!
The Jaguars host the Dolphins at 8:20 p.m. EST tonight.
