Taking a look at which players to add to your roster for Week 10!

FFB HUB Staff

Week 9 is in the books, and there are only a few weeks left to make that final push to solidify a playoff spot. Here is a list of players to pick up off of the waivers to help your roster in Week 10.

Quarterbacks

Tua Tagovailoa – Dolphins

Available in 75% of Yahoo Leagues and 72% of ESPN Leagues

Ryan Fitzpatrick had been playing well before Tua was announced as the starter for the Dolphins. The Dolphins knew what they were getting when they drafted Tua, and opted to thrust their Quarterback of the future into the starting role earlier in the season. Tua did not disappoint in his second start against the Cardinals on Sunday. Tagovailoa was 20/28 for 248 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also had 7 carries for 35 yards. The Dolphins are looking like a playoff contender, and Tua is a good add if you are in need of a QB.

Drew Lock – Broncos

Available in 80% of Yahoo Leagues and 81% of ESPN Leagues

Lock had another solid outing for the Broncos on Sunday. Lock was 25/48 for 313 yards with 2 Touchdowns and an interception. He also led the Broncos in rushing with 7 carries for 47 yards and a touchdown. The game script should be in Lock’s favor for most if not all of the Broncos remaining games this season. You can’t beat volume at the Quarterback position, and Lock certainly has it. He as attempted over 40 passes in each of the Broncos past three games. If you are in a deep league and in need of a QB, Lock is a good option.

Quarterbacks coming off a BYE to get if still available:

Joe Burrow – Available in 28% of Yahoo Leagues and 25% of ESPN Leagues

Jared Goff – Available in 36% of Yahoo Leagues and 59% of ESPN Leagues

Running Backs

J.D. McKissic – Washington

Available in 74% of Yahoo Leagues and 52% of ESPN Leagues

McKissic saw a team high 14 targets for Washington on Sunday. 14 Targets! He turned those targets into 9 receptions for 65 yards. He also had 3 carries for 17 yards in the game. Antonio Gibson may be the starter, but McKissic should see a lot of check down looks from Alex Smith who takes over for the injured Kyle Allen. The game script favors McKissic getting a good amount moving forward and he is a great add in Half PPR/Full PPR leagues.

Jordan Wilkins – Colts

Available in 75% of Yahoo Leagues and 87% of ESPN Leagues

The majority of hype this season for Colts running backs has been around Jonathan Taylor and Nyheim Hines. Wilkins has quietly made a dent into the running back time share for Indianapolis. Wilkins has led the Colts in rushing attempts in each of the past two weeks with 20 carries in Week 8 and 11 carries in Week 9. If you are in need of a RB in a deep league, Wilkins is a good speculative add despite the crowded backfield.

Duke Johnson – Texans

Available in 83% of Yahoo Leagues and 83% of ESPN Leagues

Johnson might just be a 1 week rental for fantasy managers but could be a good speculative add for Week 10. With David Johnson in concussion protocol, Duke will see a good amount of work if David is out for Week 10. With David Johnson injured in Week 9, Duke had 16 carries for 41 yards and a Touchdown. He also had 4 receptions for 32 yards.

Wayne Gallman – Giants

Available in 75% of Yahoo Leagues and 67% of ESPN Leagues

Gallman has had double digit carries and a touchdown in 3 straight weeks for the Giants. If Freeman is out again, Gallman will see good volume against a Eagles defense that has given up a lot of rushing touchdowns this season.

Add him if he was dropped:

Mike Davis – Panthers

Available in 26% of Yahoo Leagues and 28% of ESPN Leagues

Mike Davis was a sensational replacement when McCaffrey was out with an injury. McCaffrey came back on Sunday and did McCaffrey things. Mike Davis is still worth an add though because McCaffrey suffered an injury on Sunday and is day to day. Davis will see a lot of volume once again if McCaffrey misses a game.

Wide Receivers

Jakobi Meyers – Patriots

Available in 86% of Yahoo Leagues and 89% of ESPN Leagues

Meyers had a stellar game Monday night for New England. Meyers had 12 receptions on 14 targets for 169 yards. Meyers had earned the trust of Newton and should have a major role in the Patriots offense regardless of Edelman and Harry’s return date. Meyers has had 30 targets over the past three weeks for New England.

Curtis Samuel – Panthers

Available in 69% of Yahoo Leagues and 47% of ESPN Leagues

Samuel has been a reliable weapon for the Panthers over the past few weeks. Samuel has had 19 receptions on 20 targets over the past three weeks. Over the past three weeks Samuels has had 19 catches, 184 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns. He has also had 7 rushing attempts for 41 yards and two touchdowns. Even with McCaffrey back in Week 9, Samuel was still heavily involved through the air and on the ground. The Panthers have been surprisingly completive this year and took the Chiefs to the wire on Sunday. Samuel is a good add for the rest of the season.

Tight End

Jimmy Graham – Bears

Available in 51% of Yahoo Leagues and 34% of ESPN Leagues

With the exception of Travis Kelce, the tight end position has been brutal for fantasy managers. Waller and Hockenson have put up some decent games, but outside of that, it has been rough. If you are in need of a tight end, go with consistency. Graham has seen 5 or more targets in every game except for 1 this season. His numbers might not be stellar, but they are at least consistent. Graham is a good tight end option for the rest of this season if you are in need.

Ross Dwelley – 49ers

Available in 92% of Yahoo Leagues and 95% of ESPN Leagues

No one can replace George Kittle in San Francisco, but Dwelley has stepped up as a viable target for San Francisco. Jordan Reed is still an option, but Dwelley saw the majority of the 49ers targets for tight ends on Thursday. Dwelley has had 4 receptions on 7 targets for 68 yards and a touchdown over the past two weeks. He is worth a speculative add as his production could continue to go up with Kittle out for most if not all of the remaining season.

Tight End coming off a BYE to get if still available:

Dallas Goedert – Available in 43% of Yahoo Leagues and 44% of ESPN Leagues

Goedert will see his fair share of targets for the Eagles, and is a viable tight end the rest of this season.
